Due to expansion of our services and retirement, applications
are invited for Clinical Embryologist positions within the Birmingham Womens
Fertility Centre at Birmingham Womens and Childrens NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a fantastic opportunity of a person wishing to
join our Ambitious, Brave and Compassionate Healthcare Science Team.
The role is based in our Embryology cleanroom labs and
will encompass all the standard Embryology workload. We aim for the our service
to be recognised Internationally for its work and so expect dedication, interest
and excellence in this area. We are one of the largest PGD centres in the UK
and would expect the candidate to be, or train to, proficient trophectoderm
biopsy practitioner status.
Main duties of the job
The Fertility Centre has been providing exceptional
care to couples and individuals experiencing fertility problems for over 40
years and is regionally, nationally and internationally recognised for its
infertility care and research. We are an expert team employing a holistic
approach to treatment. We are the only
specialist fertility centre in the Midlands licensed to provide a full range of
services from diagnosis of infertility to specialist fertility surgery,
assisted conception treatment and nationally leading pre-implantation genetic
diagnosis.
The successful candidate will also be expected to
participate in audit, QM and research as part of maintaining their CPD. The

It is also essential that you can work flexible hours
to meet the needs of the service which has a seven day rota.
