The FTB PACT (Personality and Complex Trauma) pathway; ICON
(Intense Community Outreach Network) Team is seeking a senior Occupational
Therapist to join the Advanced OT in the team to provide dynamic approaches
towards intervention for children and young people with complex mental health
needs.

This role will allow the development/ consolidation of specialist
Occupational Therapy skills; independent working, managing an Occupation Focused
caseload, supporting the wider MDT through generic tasks such as initial
assessments. The ICON team is for young people with complex clinical
presentations. The team is currently a combination of Specialist Nursing,
Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Community Support Workers. We require an
OT who has passion and skills in the clinical management of young people with
emotional, social and interpersonal difficulties often with complex trauma.
Main duties of the job
We are also happy to hear from b5 level Occupational Therapists
with a professional development plan
We will be supporting our team to develop Occupational
Formulations, Occupation focused interventions, sensory pathways and co
production strategies. Members of our team have been supported to developing
core OT skills as well as additional specialist modalities such as DBT,
Systemic training, BUSS, ADOS.

This job is based within the Community Hub based currently at
Finch rd.
Core working hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 however flexibility to meet
the needs of our children, young people and families is essential. A driving
license and access to a car daily for work purposes is also essential as the
service is citywide. Successful applicants will still be employed by BWC.
