Do you enjoy teamwork and want to gain a
qualification while training? If so we have a vacancy for a PACS AND IMS
Apprentice within the PACS Team. The team operates across both Birmingham
Womens and Childrens Hospital. In this role you will act as the first point
of contact for queries relating to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
and IMS (Imaging Management System). You will provide day to day support for
PACS/IMS and it users. You will be employed on a 15 month fixed term contract,
working 37.5 hours a week. These hours will also include time for formal study
towards the Apprenticeship framework.

Main duties of the job
You must have a good literacy and numeracy
skills, be well presented, good communication skills, represent the
organisation in a professional manner at all times, be courteous and respectful
of all team colleagues and be able to work as part of a team.
Due the intrinsic nature of this job role, an
understanding of GDPR as well as Information Governance principles relating to
the use of personal confidential data in a healthcare setting would be highly
advantageous but training shall be provided. This includes the NHS Act 2006,
the Health and Social Care Act 2012 and the Human Rights Act.
