We are looking for an experienced
clinical nurse or midwife to provide inspirational leadership and management
for a new Maternal Vaccination Service for the Integrated Care System, based in
our Womens Hospital. This is brand new
service, where excellent communication and organizational skills are
necessary.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be able
to manage the clinical front facing team and the daily operational issues to
ensure safe and outstanding care for women, ensuring every woman has the
opportunity for a vaccination conversation to make informed choices for herself
and her unborn child. There will be very
close relationships with our dependent services at all stages of the pregnancy,
including our neighboring ICS maternity units where immunizations will be
delivered. Outstanding communication skill is required to ensure good working
relationships with a wide-ranging multidisciplinary team and families.

We offer a family friendly environment for our local community and region. The post holder will need to be adaptable,
flexible and able to work the full range of clinical shifts, but will mainly
work Monday to Friday. While successful candidates will be based at our Womens
Hospital there may be occasions where there is a need for working at our
Childrens Hospital site. You will be
required to have access to your own car and be able to travel between our ICS
sites to provide a service across Birmingham and Solihull. These sites currently include Solihull
Hospital, Heartlands Hospital, City and Sandwell Hospitals, Good Hope Hospital.
