An
exciting opportunity has arisen within the Research and Development (R&D)
department.We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and dedicated individual
with an interest in delivering
research across neonatal care and treatment to join
our friendly Neonatal Research Team on a part-time basis (15 hours per week).
The successful candidate
will predominantly be based at Birmingham Womens and will be responsible for
maximising recruitment into research studies within the Trust. Duties will
include study setup, development of recruitment strategies, protocol implementation
including administering assessments and interventions, data collection and management,
and audit and evaluation of research studies delivered by Birmingham Women and
Childrens NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be responsible for the
co-ordination and maintenance of accurate, comprehensive records for clinical
trial files to support the research and clinical teams in all aspects of
recruitment, education, and monitoring of participants in clinical trials. They
will support the development of the department by working alongside R&D teams
to raise the profile of research.
Main duties of the job
The
applicant must be an excellent communicator, will need exceptional
interpersonal and team working skills, and be capable of working independently
and flexibly. Previous experience in neonatal care and treatment is essential. The applicant
must be entered on to the NMC register as a nurse and have no restrictions to
practice.
This
post is subject to change to reflect the needs of the services and projects available.Please note this role is offered as a secondment opportunity for
12 months. You will need to have agreement from your current employer to apply
