We are
excited to be recruiting for a Highly Specialist Pediatric Neuropsychologist
& Clinical Psychologist to join our amazing paediatric neuropsychology team
nestled with the Health in Mind Team here at Birmingham Womens and Childrens
Hospital (BWCH). Here at BWCH, your work will be interesting and varied, with
well-established links in place to providing neuropsychological and therapeutic
assessments and interventions to a number of specialties, such as Epilepsy
Surgery, Inherited Metabolic Conditions, Neuro-oncology, Haemoglobinopathy, and
Acquired Brain injury.
Main duties of the job
You will
be joining our supportive senior decision-making team in developing the best
possible, compassionate, inclusive psychological and neuropsychological care
within an acute specialist childrens hospital setting. We are committed to developing your
leadership skills and supporting your development.
You will
have specific leadership, governance and supervision responsibilities within
the paediatric neuropsychology service to ensure the systematic provision of
high quality, compassionate, inclusive and accessible services, in agreement
with Lead Consultant Paediatric Neuropsychologist and the Head of Department.
You will
thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, emotive environment with complex &
challenging demands
You will
facilitate and maintain a strong research and development culture, in the
promotion of service and policy development, quality improving service user
outcomes and experiences.
This
post is advertised at a 0.6 wte. It will
be based at Birmingham Childrens Hospital with flexibility for some remote
working.
