Job summary

Our recruitment team have a vital role at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust (BWC). We work closely with our hiring managers to ensure vacancies are filled as efficiently and safely as possible.

We have recently gone live with a brand new recruitment and onboarding applicant tracking system (ATS) called Trac and we are seeking some interim support for our Recruitment Team.

We welcome applications from candidates seeking full time and part time hours (4 or 5 days per week) between Monday to Friday. 3 days per week may be considered as a minimum.

Rate of pay: £10.54 per hour + 12.5% working time directive (WTD). £11.85 includes the 12.5% working time directive.

This will be a temporary 3 month assignment for the successful candidate and we are looking for someone who can start in the next couple of weeks ideally.

Main duties of the job

As a Recruitment Onboarding Advisor you will provide support to the Recruitment Team on a variety of vacancies from the point of job advertisement, through to offer and completion of candidate pre-employment checks. A key part of this role will be to proactively follow up with candidates who have outstanding pre-employment checks and support on the recruitment phone line.

Our recruitment team aim to deliver a first-class candidate experience by providing an efficient recruitment service and maintaining regular communication throughout a candidate's recruitment journey.

It's also important that our Recruitment Team adhere to the Trust's recruitment process, policies, recruitment KPIs and legal requirements.

This opportunity will suit an excellent communicator who is highly organised and can manage their time effectively. The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines is key.

We are looking for someone who is personable, approachable and has excellent attention to detail.

Administration experience working in a fast paced, busy department is essential.

Experience of completing recruitment administration tasks / processing pre-employment checks and working with a recruitment system e.g. Trac jobs, is desirable.
