Job summary

Are you an expert midwifery practitioner who is passionate about providing and facilitating evidence-based, person-centred care? Do you have the drive and ambition to play a pivotal role in improving birth outcomes, whilst empowering the multi professional team to be more confident with CTG interpretation.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Professional Practice team, and are looking for a Fetal Surveillance Midwife. This role will involve the ongoing development and delivery of innovative education, as well as facilitating multi professional in situ learning discussions around CTG interpretation as part of a systematic review.

Main duties of the job

You will be conversant with national and local guidance pertaining to improving birth outcomes, and possess knowledge of Trust Governance processes in regard to the adherence of these, including the implementation of recommendations around CTG training and recognition of organizational barriers and the impact of human factors.

You will have the clinical credibility and expertise needed to offer expert advice and respectful, professional challenge to the whole multi professional team.
