Regional Inpatient CAMHS service at Parkview
We are seeking two Band 7 Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join all multi-disciplinary and dynamic Regional Inpatient CAMHS service at Parkview.

Main duties of the job
If you have experience of working clinically in a CAMHS inpatient service; experience in working with eating disorders, and within a General Adolescent Unit and training and skills in FTAN, MFT and NVR it will be very relevant. You will be an innovative, high performing individual who is able to make safe and confident decisions around patient care, working in close partnership with patients and their parents, families, colleagues in the multidisciplinary team, and community agencies.

- Current UKCP Registration as Systemic Family Psychotherapists
- Doctoral or Masters level qualification in Systemic Family Psychotherapy or equivalent
- Relevant professional Qualifications indicated by AFT Guidance or AFT recognized equivalence.
- Evidence of recent and relevant continuous professional development
- Specialist skills in meeting the needs of children and families with complex emotional/behavioral/relational needs
- Training in systemic teaching, training, and supervision
- Experience of working with Family Based Treatment models, such as MFT and NVR
KNOWLEDGE & NATURE OF EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Extensive practice in relevant first profession, including work with children and families
- Experience of working with young people and families in an inpatient/ hospital setting using Family based treatment such as NVR and MFT
- Skills in the use of complex methods of systemic assessment, intervention and management to suit differing needs of families/ systems
- Experience of, and skill in offering systemic thinking to the complexity of multidisciplinary work in a busy, stressful inpatient setting. This is to include experience of offering staff support groups and staff debriefs
- Being an active and committed member of the MDT senior management team - involved in strategic planning for the service, undertaking staff support/ consultation and supervision on a regular basis with inpatient colleagues/ nursing staff.
