This is an exciting development role within The Royal Marsden's Transformation Team. The Royal Marsden has several transformation programmes in place which includes improving theatre productivity, improving outpatient efficiency, and implementing new strategic developments in genomics.

The role is intended to start as a band 7 position, with opportunity for the post holder to advance to a band 8a position once they have developed the required skills as described in the job description. Applicants will be considered at band 7 or at band 8a depending on their experience and skillset.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting programmes and projects with a range of tasks including project management, change management, data analysis and stakeholder engagement. They must be able to work alongside a range of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, work efficiently to keep project progress on track, and adapt flexibly to changing project needs.

Main duties of the job

The Royal Marsden runs multiple transformation programmes at any given time, covering topics such as improving inpatient flow, reducing on the day waiting times for day patients receiving systemic anticancertherapy and improving the efficiency of administrative processes.The post holder will be responsible for delivery of one or more specific projects as standalone projects or within wider transformation programmes that drive transformation & quality improvement in healthcare service delivery at The Royal Marsden.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with strong relationship building skillsto join our Transformation team. The Senior Transformation Analyst will be working at the intersectionbetween project management and operational implementation - translating transformation into reality inthe organisation. This will involve analysing complex information, using persuasion skills, and providing hands on engagement with clinical teams. The post holder will need to work autonomously and yet be collaborative in their approach, also taking guidance from senior team members as required.

The post holder must have experience of quality improvement and/or transformation initiatives, experience in the use of quality improvement techniques, and be able to work alongside clinical and non-clinical staff and patients in the drive for improvement.
