Job summary

RMH is currently looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join at an exciting time of change in the Trust. You will manage multiple high-value strategic projects from their inception to the end of the project lifecycle across various clinical and non-clinical settings. The post is based at our offices in Wallington, however, travel to and from other NHS sites will be part of the role's requirement. With over three years of healthcare background and a track record of project delivery, the Senior Project Manager will be a good communicator with proven leadership ability and matrix management experience. The Senior Project Manager will be highly qualified for the PRINCE2 practitioner level and seek to develop the team's professional skills through peer review and personal development whilst ensuring that each team member delivers project outputs to a high standard, on time and to budget.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of a number of strategic clinical initiatives, including, but not limited to:o The programme of work that will deliver refreshed clinical technologies to laboratories across the Trust. This consists of a complex set of sub-projects, supported by an experienced subject matter expert. You will report activity, progress, risk and issues to appropriate project and programme boards.o The development and delivery of a process of a technology refresh programme for clinical laboratory technology, including analysers, scanners, and point of care devices.o Adhoc clinical technology projects as required by the programme manager or wider senior leadership team in RM Digital. The post-holder will be responsible for delivering projects on time, to budget and to agreed quality standards that meet business needs. The appointee will liaise with the key stakeholders from the business and the Digital Diagnostics Programme, working closely with other Programme and Project Managers and Workstream Leads.The post-holder will be expected to play a major role in the planning stage of the DHR Replacement project, with an emphasis on the delivery of the initiatives that will support the long-term objectives for diagnostic services across the Trust.
