Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 7 Dietitian to join our bank to cover the specialist area of diabetes. This post will work within a friendly team; working as a key, valued and active member of the Diabetes multidisciplinary and dietetic teams. The applicant must be self-motivated, well-organised and be confident communicator. Informal visits or discussions about the role are very welcome. Based at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work see adult patients with all forms of diabetes including diabetes in pregnancy in outpatients clinics or in telephone clinics. This post offers excellent opportunities to develop working relationships with a wide MDT network including Diabetes Consultants, Diabetes Specialist nurses, Specialist Clinical Psychologists, GPs, and Practice nurses. They will also be involved in supporting junior dietitians and students. If you have substantial post graduate clinical dietetic experience including working with people with diabetes, please contact us to discuss this post.
