Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to provide efficient administration support to our Hepatology Liver Service Team.
This role is based at Worthing Hospital, 37.5hrs Monday - Friday
We are looking to recruit someone who can work well under pressure, both within a team and unsupervised.
Attention to detail is essential as you will be dealing with repetition where accuracy is key. You will need to competent In IT and have experience with a variety of software.
NHS experience, medical terminology and good typing skills would be advantageous, though not essential as full training will be given to the right person.
Main duties of the job
Working as part if a team and independently using initiative to ensure effective working.
Typing of Hepatology/Liver Service admin dictations, prioritising work according to changing demands and adhering to Trust guidelines of dictation turnaround.
Ensuring direct to test fibroscan clinics are fully utilised.
Ensuring patient details are accurate and up to date.
Using a variety of software and programmes to book and track patients.
General Administration, message taking and enquires are processes in a reasonable time frame.
Liaising and communicating with a wide variety of health care professionals and admin support teams.
To prioritise and organise workload to meet deadlines and to adapt to ad hoc requests.
