Job summary
Our current Anticoagulation Nurse Manager (West) will be retiring on 13th July 2025. We would like to take this opportunity to identify a suitable candidate toact up into this Band 7 role temporarily, ensuring continuity of leadership and service delivery until we redesign and fully merge of service.
We are therefore seeking application from candidates who have the appropriate clinical experience, leadership potential, and professional competencies required to fulfil the responsibilities of this role.
This role offers an excellent development opportunity for a motivated individual looking to gain experience in operational leadership, service development, and staff management within a supportive environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Anticoagulation Nurse (B8a) based at RSCH to manage and support anticoagulation services across both sites.
As part of this process, we strongly encourage individuals with a passion for service improvement, staff development, and collaborative working to apply.
We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses.
Main duties of the job
Key Information:
Role: Acting Anticoagulation Nurse Manager - Band 7 (West)
Duration: 6 months,Temporary cover for the post following the current post holder's retirement
Sites covered: SRH and Worthing (travel between sites will be required)
Support: Ongoing supervision and leadership support will be provided by the Lead Anticoagulation Nurse (B8a) based at RSCH.
