Job summary
We are looking for a motivated Band 3 Physiotherapy Technical instructor to join our well-established Medical Physiotherapy team at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester.
The role will work as part of the Medical Physiotherapy Team providing a high quality and comprehensive therapy service to patients. This will includework with adults with varied conditions, including frailty, dementia, falls, amputee's
Chichester is a beautiful historic city situated adjacent to the South Downs National Park, the sea and with excellent transport links to London and across Southern England. You will be joining a strong and supportive Physiotherapy team within the top performing University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. Main duties of the job
- To work as part of a Physiotherapy Team providing a high quality and comprehensive therapy service to patients.
- To work independently and as part of a team
- To carry out appropriate assessments and treatments of patients within own scope of practice and under supervision of qualified staff with a variety of conditions and possible complex conditions
- To develop treatment plans and carry out treatment of patients with a variety of conditions and complex needs. To evaluate these treatment sessions and modify appropriately.
- To work with adults with varied conditions, including frailty, dementia, falls, amputee's
- To regularly feedback to Physiotherapists regarding patients' progress
- To be involved with data collection/audit to monitor service, general statistic collation and outcome measures the team are using.
- To assist with the clerical and professional administrative tasks required to provide an efficient and effective high quality service.
