Job summary

We are looking for a motivated Band 3 Physiotherapy Technical instructor to join our well-established Medical Physiotherapy team at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester.

The role will work as part of the Medical Physiotherapy Team providing a high quality and comprehensive therapy service to patients. This will includework with adults with varied conditions, including frailty, dementia, falls, amputee's

Chichester is a beautiful historic city situated adjacent to the South Downs National Park, the sea and with excellent transport links to London and across Southern England. You will be joining a strong and supportive Physiotherapy team within the top performing University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. Main duties of the job

  • To work as part of a Physiotherapy Team providing a high quality and comprehensive therapy service to patients.
  • To work independently and as part of a team
  • To carry out appropriate assessments and treatments of patients within own scope of practice and under supervision of qualified staff with a variety of conditions and possible complex conditions
  • To develop treatment plans and carry out treatment of patients with a variety of conditions and complex needs. To evaluate these treatment sessions and modify appropriately.
  • To work with adults with varied conditions, including frailty, dementia, falls, amputee's
  • To regularly feedback to Physiotherapists regarding patients' progress
  • To be involved with data collection/audit to monitor service, general statistic collation and outcome measures the team are using.
  • To assist with the clerical and professional administrative tasks required to provide an efficient and effective high quality service.
