Job summary

We are looking for a motivated Band 3 Physiotherapy Technical instructor to join our well-established Medical Physiotherapy team at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester.

The role will work as part of the Medical Physiotherapy Team providing a high quality and comprehensive therapy service to patients. This will includework with adults with varied conditions, including frailty, dementia, falls, amputee's

Chichester is a beautiful historic city situated adjacent to the South Downs National Park, the sea and with excellent transport links to London and across Southern England. You will be joining a strong and supportive Physiotherapy team within the top performing University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. Main duties of the job

To work as part of a Physiotherapy Team providing a high quality and comprehensive therapy service to patients.
To work independently and as part of a team
To carry out appropriate assessments and treatments of patients within own scope of practice and under supervision of qualified staff with a variety of conditions and possible complex conditions
To develop treatment plans and carry out treatment of patients with a variety of conditions and complex needs. To evaluate these treatment sessions and modify appropriately.
To work with adults with varied conditions, including frailty, dementia, falls, amputee's
To regularly feedback to Physiotherapists regarding patients' progress
To be involved with data collection/audit to monitor service, general statistic collation and outcome measures the team are using.
To assist with the clerical and professional administrative tasks required to provide an efficient and effective high quality service.
