Level 11 West are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Band 6 to join our dedicated Trauma and Orthopaedics team for 1 year secondment to cover Maternity leave.. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is ready to develop their leadership skills, make a real impact on patient care, and play a key role in supporting the team
Main duties of the job
As a member of the multi-disciplinary team to provide the highest standard of patient care.
Contributes to the smooth and efficient running of the ward over a 7 day period.
Prioritises care and delegates duties to others as appropriate ensuring they are supervised and mentored responding effectively the changing nature of the workload
Continues to develop own knowledge and skills through locally agreed personal development plans and facilitates the development of others.
Participates in change management and clinical audit within own area of work.
Works in partnership with other agencies. ) To provide and ensure the provision of safe andhigh quality patient care and to work within the guidelines of the trust
Provide aconducive learning environment for all staff and students, offering tuition, support and guidance to nursing staff on the ward.
