About the Role:
As Procurement Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Assistant Directors of Procurement in managing the plan of how the category leads will effective manage diverse portfolio of sourcing frameworks and contracts, ranging from strategic initiatives to high-value agreements. Your expertise in both procurement and project management will be essential in driving successful project outcomes, from initiation to closure.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Framework/Contract Lifecycle Management:
- Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with Trust requirements and budgets.
- Lead feasibility studies and develop options analyses to support procurement initiatives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies, adhering to the Trust's GATE process.
- Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and execution of contracts, ensuring clarity and compliance.
- Manage vendor and supplier performance, ensuring contracted services and goods meet agreed standards.
- Facilitate contract close-out and conduct post-contract evaluations to drive continuous improvement
