Job summary
We are looking for a friendly, adaptable person to input and co-ordinate data collection and analysis for the East Sussex, Brighton and Hove Breast Screening Programme and also assist with covering the administration breast imaging appointments .
Main duties of the job
To coordinate and enter and resolve data issues to enable the East Sussex Brighton & Hove Breast Screening Service to submit accurate annual reports and returns. To support Consultant Radiologists with in carrying out mandatory audits (i.e. interval cancer audit). Assume some responsibility for the symptomatic workload working as part of a team providing the efficient day-to-day operation of both the symptomatic and Breast Screening Call/Recall System and supporting all consultant radiologists/clinicians within the Department.
To perform a variety of client related secretarial, clerical and reception duties in the Breast Screening Unit. To cover and support the Symptomatic Breast Imaging Service.
To communicate effectively with a wide variety of clients and members of the Multidisciplinary Team.
