**9 months covering maternity leave for the PA to the Director of Finance**
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Assistant, to provide high quality support to the Director of Finance and their senior team.
The post holder will manage the smooth running of their office, ensuring the highest standard of business support.
Recent significant experience as a Personal Assistant, ideally at Director level, in a fast paced complex environment is essential to being shortlisted. Main duties of the job
This is a challenging role which requires someone with excellent organisational skills who is used to dealing with conflicting priorities. Diary management is a large part of the role so applicants must have comprehensive experience in managing multiple complex electronic diaries and in the co-ordination and planning of the Director's activities.
You will have excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation and with key external stakeholders. The aptitude to work on your own initiative and the ability to prioritise your work effectively, whilst handling a busy office, is essential as you will be required to manage large volumes of work with a very fast turnaround.
You will be required to prepare communications and presentations to a high standard, so an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required along with the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality. Applicants will need to have experience of working in a busy organisation and servicing of meetings including preparing and distributing agenda papers and taking and producing accurate high quality minutes and action points.

To work to the Trust Director to provide high level support undertaking a wide rangeof activities to ensure a focus on key priorities.To manage the full range of duties contributing to the efficient and effectiveperformance of the Trust Director and senior team.To provide a high standard of administrative and secretarial support and ensuring aprofessional, efficient and confidential service at all times.The post holder will need to work autonomously and will be responsible forimplementing team administrative processes to support the effective running of theteam. This will require effective planning, organisation and communication in acomplex environment.To be responsible for ensuring pro-active and responsive daily management of diary,emails, telephone calls and other correspondence. Responsible for ensuringprogress on actions are delivered within agreed timescales, often dealing withmatters relating to the Trust Director.Personal Assistants have one work-base, however post holders may be asked totravel to other locations to respond to business needs.
