This job provides an opportunity to continue to maintain a clinical caseload (min 1 day a week) whilst being able to develop your operational management skills within a dynamic organisation.
You will be responsible for operational and clinical management and delivery of the inpatient OT services and certain out-patient teams in conjunction with the O T Leadership team contribute to planning, development and performance of the OT service across University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.
You will be required to actively promote and develop equality and diversity practices and delivery in order to promote equity of access of care for patients and equity of access to job opportunities and development opportunities for staff.
You will be able to use your professional and clinical leadership skills to develop and implement training and personal development plans for OT staff.
You will be responsible with the other members of the O T Leadership team for maintaining and improving all aspects of clinical governance, evidence-based practice and quality assurance for the OT service.

Responsible with the other members of the Occupational Therapy Leadership team for maintaining and improving all aspects of clinical governance, evidence-based practice and quality assurance for the Occupational Therapy service.
