Job summary
A great opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic nurses with oncology or Dermatology experience to join our multidisciplinary teams at University Hospitals Sussex (Brighton and Haywards Heath location). This friendly and dynamic team are looking for a colleague who is driven to provide excellent patient care and raising the profile of the CNS team. Previous experience of running and developing nurse led clinics is desirable together with a passion for change management and service development.
This is a macmillan funded fixed term post for 22 months. Secondment applications will be accepted with approval of the existing line manager.

Main duties of the job
The dermatology cancer service is across several sites between Brighton and Haywards Heath. The post holder will be required to work at all sites.
The post holder will provide a specialist service to a caseload of patients with skin cancer and their families from the point of diagnosis onwards, including treatment toxicity review and symptom control. They will provide on-going advice and support to enable patients to make informed decisions about their management and care. There will be an expectation to contribute to the implementation of the Personalised Care Agenda which will involve reviewing and leading on Holistic Needs Assessments, follow up and Health and Wellbeing interventions.
