Job summary

Applications are invited from suitably experienced people for this exciting role as PACS and Informatics Manager at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Trust (West). The Hospitals are Worthing, Southlands (Shoreham by Sea) and St Richards , (Chichester).

Main duties of the job

Your role will be to provide system support, training, integration and ensure data integrity for the PACS , RIS, VNA, IEP and other Radiology IT systems

You will be responsible for leading a friendly and experienced PACS team during the day to day management of the PACS, CRIS, IEP and OCS system.

You will work closely with the Radiology Senior Management Team to support service delivery, future strategies and innovation.

The Trust working in collaboration with the PACS consortium in Surrey and Sussex has purchased a new PACS system from Sectra. Role out will commence from Spring 2022 and your role will be to lead and support this implementation for UHSx (West) in collaboration with the Suppliers Project Team .

This role would suit either a Radiographer with experience in PACS administration and Radiology IT or equally a non clinical person with experience of managing clinical information systems in a clinical setting
