111 Service Advisor - Gillingham

The SECAmb 111 service is currently expanding, and we need dedicated and passionate Service Advisors to join our team.

As a Service Advisor, you will be answering calls from the general public, which will include:

- Repeat prescription requests- Call backs from patients escalating queries from previous calls with the service- Escalating clinical concerns to our Health Advisors- Chasing the Out of Hours providers for resolutions for patients

You must be able to solve routine problems and make straightforward judgments quickly and professionally.

We will provide full training in a warm, friendly environment in our Medway Make Ready Centre.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will handle selected calls from patients and health care professionals, updating systems as appropriate and following standard operating procedures to respond to callers' questions.

You will be required to work a minimum of 15 hours per week - evenings and weekends, and you will be expected to work 3 out of 4 weekends per month, due to this being our busiest time as a service.
