Job summary

The post is based in the ADAPT team which is a secondary mental health service working with adults in the community who have a range of mental health issues including Anxiety, Depression, Affective disorders, Personality disorders and trauma.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and professional Art Therapist with excellent communication skills to join the team. The successful post holder will work as part of the psychological therapies service within the ADAPT team and provide support for the art therapy service in ICMP.

Main duties of the job

Art Therapy is a valued discipline in the Trust and the post holder will be expected to enhance the culture of innovation within the Trust wide and local teams.

Successful candidate should demonstrate a positive approach to multi professional working, an enthusiasm for learning and be able to think creatively about the development of the service within the Trust. You will also be required to demonstrate effective clinical governance in your work.
