Job summary

An exciting opportunity to come and join a dynamic and supportive team, leading adult learning disability and adult autism services across Bromley, Bexley and Greenwich. As Service Manager, you will be part of the Directorate Management team, working closely with the senior operational and clinical teams and external stakeholders, to operationally manage and develop services. You will be responsible for providing strong and visible leadership on a number of sites including the Woolwich Centre and Queen Mary's Hospital. The Directorate is committed to meeting the needs of the population we serve, ensuring best and inclusive practice. This post would suit an excellent leader who will ensure strong operational oversight whilst supporting strategic direction. The Trust is committed to equality and promoting diversity. Main duties of the job

To ensure the safe, efficient, responsive and effective delivery of Specialist Adult Learning Disability and Autism services across the boroughs of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich..

To ensure the services are delivered in accordance with national and local policies, priorities and regulatory frameworks and meet all performance targets. To ensure that reporting requirements to commissioners are met.

To demonstrate in depth understanding of the wider social, political and economic factors that shape local and national drivers for services and to use this knowledge to positively influence the Trust's service development plans.

To develop and implement Directorate strategies and priorities and operate as a key management lead within the 3 borough Leadership Team.

To work in close partnership with external organisations.
