Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a highly skilled, innovative and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, or Senior CBT Therapist, to provide operational, clinical and professional leadership in conjunction with the Consultant Clinical Psychologist across our two Intensive Case Management for Psychosis (ICMP) and Community Mental Health Rehabilitation and Enablement Service (CMHRES) Teams. The post holder will take a lead role in managing the provision of psychological therapy in the teams and providing clinical leadership within the Bromley psychosis pathway.
Main duties of the job
Working with and reporting to the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, the postholder will provide skilled and experienced leadership for the psychological therapies staff in the teams and join senior clinical staff in the teams to oversee the provision and development of the psychological therapies service and wider psychological and trauma-informed practice in the service. The postholder will ensure the systematic provision of a high quality specialist psychological therapies service across the Bromley ICMP and CMHRES teams.
To supervise and support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other psychologists and other clinical members of the service who provide psychologically-based care and treatment.
To provide consultation and reflective practice and incident debriefs to the service and to facilitate team working, psychologically informed practice, trauma-informed care and appropriate treatment pathways to optimise service user journey and experience across service transitions.
