Job summary

Main duties of the job

We are looking to recruit a highly competent and enthusiastic healthcare professional from within the disciplines of Social Work, Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy to join us in our Bromley CAMHS Generic Team.

The post holder will be a registered clinician with post registration experience within a mental health setting; it would be an advantage if some of this time will have been working with young people. It is important that you can show your interest and willingness to learn how to work with children with significant mental health difficulties.

The post holder will be required to work in clinic and offer evidence-based, outcome focused Assessment and Treatment to children and young people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. We are looking for applicants who have a therapeutic specialism, such as training in CBT or IPT-A. You will need to have excellent therapeutic skills and be responsive and flexible in your approach to working with children and young people within the CAMH service.

The post is advertised as full time. However, we have a positive approach to flexible working and would also be pleased to receive enquiries and applications from candidates who may wish to work part-time hours.
