Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced and resourceful Recovery Coordinator to work within the Service. The successful candidate will have experience/ability of:
- Effectively engage adult male offenders, using creative approaches
- Deliver psychosocial interventions, through 121 and groups
- Provide effective case management through assessment, planning, monitoring and review
- Work within the unique challenges of a secure and diverse environment
- Work professionally, flexibly and creatively, promoting a culture of positive change
- Understand issues of social exclusion, diversity, offending and substance use
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, prison and community services
- Adhere to policies relating to safeguarding and governance

Main duties of the job
Working within a team of 18 in the Interventions team, in a challenging environment. The team offers support with substance misuse, family liaison, behaviour change work (working with drug dealers) and SMART Recovery.
Based in a young offenders prison, working with young men to address the above issues.
