Main duties of the job

The post will cover lower limb trauma as part of the major trauma centre at UHSx. Clinical activities at QVH will mainly focus on the hand trauma service with the potential opportunity to support the directorate in achieving the national and regional targets. The job plan provides indicative scheduling details of the clinical activity and the clinically related activity components of the job plan that occur at regular times in the week. Note that in line with Government and NHS objectives, QVH is working towards the provision of seven-day services. This will affect the working lives of most consultant staff and it expects that consultants will approach this need in a collaborative fashion.
