This role is mainly patient facing but is a pivotal clinical support role for the radiology team. Audit, stock and system admin are additional aspects to this role.
This position is for full time but its possible to job share.
Main duties of the job
This post is for a full time Radiology Department Assistant who will support the radiology service in chaperoning patients and assist clinical staff and patients. The RDA team also are able to undertake cannulation training, assist in the x-ray, ultrasound and MRI areas. We welcome individuals who would like to learn about the radiology department and keen to champion excellent patient care.
Informal visits are welcomed and encouraged.
