Job summary
The Procurement Contracts Manager will lead on sourcing, tendering and quotation exercises via the Atamis procurement portal. The role holder will also take the lead on identifying and managing best procurement processes for different procurements whilst advising stakeholders of their responsibilities. The role also entails leading on contract management with key suppliers, and managing members of the Buying Team. Ensure compliance with Standing Financial Instructions, Standing Orders and Procurement Policy, support a category sourcing workstream and ensure that it operates within public sector policy and the NHS legal framework to successfully achieve its objectives year on year. This shall include the delivery of demonstrable and incremental cash releasing and efficiency savings, which form part of the cost improvement plans of the Trust and wider Integrated Care System.

- Able to demonstrate highly specialist knowledge up to postgraduate/post-registration study or equivalent experience and knowledge within this field through practical experience
- Commitment to continuing professional development in line with relevant Institute requirements
Desirable
- Chartered member of Procurement and Supply or working towards qualification.
- Project management qualification.
Experience

- Supervisory experience within a small category team.
