Main duties of the job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and experienced indivudal to provide leadership PACS team at Medway NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to providing and developing a service. The ability to work closely with the other senior managers applicants must be flexible in their approach to work. The successful applicant should also have a desire to teach others, good organisational and liaison skills, and an ability to prioritise their workload.

The PACS & RIS Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the PACS and RIS equipment including workflow, archiving, auto-routing and other related activities. This position requires related clinical experience or good knowledge of Imaging Departments with a clear understanding of the working Radiology environment. The individual will work closely with department managers and supervisors to ensure proper operation of DICOM image transfer into the PACS as well as network transmission, RIS validation and exceptions handling.
The post requires complex analysis of large data sets with interpretation to resolve complex errors and corrections.

- Degree in Diagnostic Radiographer or recognised equivalent resulting in current HCPC registration.
- Registered with the Statutory Board of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Evidence of Post Grad training in both clinical and management areas

- Knowledge of the key attributes of CT Imaging.
- Knowledge of NHS Targets and policies
Experience

- Proven experience at Senior Radiographer level
