We are recruiting for aNon-Clinical Support Workerwho shares our ambition and vision to deliver theBest of Care by the Best Peopleand has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
To support staff in the Emergency Department and undertake tasks to support clinical staff; general cleaning, stocking and running errands.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work under the supervision of the Flow Coordinator/ Nurse in Charge and other registered staff at all times
The post holder will be required to provide support to Registered nurses and Clinical Support workers in accordance with Emergency Department based competencies
The post will be based within the Emergency Department but some flexibility may be required to cover areas as and when required when service needs dictate
The post holder is not responsible for managing a budget but should be able to demonstrate an awareness of the impact of their decisions on the Emergency Department budget

Daily department cleanliness
Maintaining stock levels in store areas as well as clinical areas General tidying of all areas of the department

Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist the Multi-Disciplinary team in maintaining a clean and safe ED environment.

Undertake further training and personal development as highlighted through individual performance appraisal.
