We are recruiting for a Clinical Trust Fellow (ST3+) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology who share our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and have the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
Main duties of the job
In this post you will also be able to attend weekly antenatal and gynaecology out-patient clinics. There will be opportunity to attend supervised elective theatre sessions (main theatre/day case). You will attend emergency CEPOD lists in gynaecology directly supervised at consultant level.
You will have regular opportunity to attend the emergency gynaecology clinic and work in the Maternity Care Unit and triage.

The post will be based at the Medway NHS Foundation Trust Hospital, although you will be expected to work at any of the Trusts sites (Sittingbourne and Sheppey Hospital) .
The job is a combined Obstetrics and Gynaecology rota. On call are full shifts. You will be supported by On call consultant who is resident on site 08.30 hrs 21.00 hrs and non resident from 21.00 08.30hrs.
There is routine ward work, Consultants rounds, ante-natal clinics, gynaecology outpatient clinics and operating sessions.
We have Medical students from GSTT and Kings college hospital. Post holder is expected to actively participate in teaching for these medical students.
Post holder should actively participate in the different multidisciplinary meetings in the department. (CTG meetings, Audit, Perinatal etc.).

- IELTS, or graduate of a UK Medical School
