Salary: £22,816 - £24,336 per annum/pro rata
Contract: 18hrs per week

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will join our extremely busy typing pool team working for the Care Group supporting all specialty teams. The key objective is to enable each team to meet their target turnaround time of seven days for all outpatient clinics, using digital audio transcribing clinics and processing the administration in an efficient and effective way. The emphasis on the typing is quality.

The ability to multi-task and to work under pressure is essential.
This role requires key skills of digital audio-typing and proven ability towork with diverse teams, the ability to build strong working relationships with specialty teams and to bend and flex workloads on a daily basis.
Previous administrative experience is essential and knowledge of NHS databases and Medical Terminology is essential.
It would be advisable for candidates to visit the Department and meet the team whilst completing the application process. This can be arranged as below.
To ensure patient records are accurately maintained on PAS (OASIS), and any other relevant system(s) or databases, ensuring that patient demographics details are correct
To ensure all patients records are tracked in and out of the department and returned to the relevant areas for safe transportation
To participate in team meetings and work with Team Leader(s) and Service Manager on service development
