Medway NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Deputy Chief Operating Officer/Site Director, who delivers supportive and responsive day-to-day operational management of the hospital while supporting the Chief Operating Officer with their portfolio.
The Deputy Chief Operating Officer/Site Director will play a key role in ensuring the Trust delivers on the full range of performance targets ensuring the quality of services to patients, visitors and staff, including management of clinical governance, healthcare standards and risk.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic individual who will be an integral member of the Chief Operating Officer's team, supporting the implementation of service delivery and development plans, together with plans for on-site developments and leading in the business planning process for Operations.
The post holder is also required to establish essential working with partnerships across the system to ensure safe and effective care and flow for our patients.
This post is an exciting opportunity for a senior manager to expand their expertise of working across the whole operational agenda. It is ideally suited to an outstanding individual who can demonstrate the ability to deliver a complex and challenging agenda.
