This is a Fixed-term contract to cover for maternity.

Main duties of the job
It's an exciting time to join our Work Based Learning team, as we design and deliver a new model of working. You'll be joining a friendly and experienced team who are all committed to delivering a high level of service.
You will be an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter, able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Ideally you'll have some previous experience of working with apprenticeships, work experience and placements. You'll need to have great planning and organising skills, and be experienced with Microsoft Office applications.
Most of all, you'll need to have a passion for developing others and helping them to be the very best that they can be.

Job responsibilities
To provide an efficient and effective administrative and service supporting the work based learning (WBL) team in delivering the Trusts Leadership & Organisational Development Strategy and apprentice levy targets.
Work in partnership with Medway Education Business Partnership and other providers to ensure that work experience requests from schools and colleges are placed successfully within the Trust
Work in partnership with Trust contacts to ensure that young people have a positive experience and to plan future placements. Ensuring their experience is reviewed and improvements implemented to improve the students experience
Co-ordinate and approve requests for work placements via the website and relevant internal departments
Review and update relevant paperwork and procedures as and when required
Ensure all work experience candidates are booked onto Corporate Induction and inducted smoothly into the departments
Liaise with internal departments and health and safety to produce a programme and job description for each placement
Welcome delegates to events and programmes, as required, ensuring appropriate registration details are collected to support data collection and evidence impact on planned events
Working closely with local schools, colleges and training providers to support opportunities for young people to access work experience
Ensure that all checks are completed prior to starting and records kept and maintained
