We have an opportunity for a knowledgeable Dietitian to inspire and lead the Paediatric Diabetes service at Medway Hospital. This is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave for 1 year.

Main duties of the job

The successful postholder will be working within the paediatric diabetes multi-disciplinary team to provide a clinical service to paediatric diabetes patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate paediatric diabetes dietitian to work as part of the MDT at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. This is well established service offering care to both in and outpatient setting. This post will require you to work alongside the diabetes MDT and will provide a variety of experiences of working directly with patients/parents, close collaboration with other professionals, involvement in education and teaching and quality improvement initiatives.

In addition you will have the support of a very collaborative, fun and engaged dietetic team and therapies department, to develop and implement an advanced paediatric service.

The role is flexible for the postholder to develop in the direction they feel is appropriate for the trust and service.
