Main duties of the job
Support, energise, inspire and empower others in pursuit of a shared vision to ensure the effective management of the department
Assist in the care of the perioperative patient.
Participating as a practitioner within the theatre team
Working within the safe environment of the theatre complex.
To be involved with department audits, in-house training and mandatory training requirements.
To recognise potential clinical challenges and ways of dealing with them.
Ensures that staffing and skill mix is maintained, at all times, to a level that does not compromise patient safety, including appropriate request, deployment and supervision of temporary staff.
