Joining our small but very busy team, you'll be required to manage the day to day operations of the Portering Department, and have working knowledge of all the other Logistic services as cross coverage will be a requirement.
Applicants will be required to be flexible and work weekends and bank holidays as they will be required to work a shift pattern in a 24/7, seven days a week service.

Your primary responsibility/duty is to lead all aspects of the daily operations of the area/areas of main management responsibility, by providing an excellent customer focused service, ensuring that all Department tasks/duties are completed in a professional and timely fashion.
To be responsible for the management, supervision and administration of the post holders designated area/areas of responsibility to include but not exclusive: appraisals, attendance, booking of bank staff, sickness / absence records through the use of the Trust databases, and arranging bespoke and or mandatory training.
The Logistics Team Leader will be required to delegate tasks as necessary thought out departments, services and teams, whilst utilising good leadership and problem solving skills, ensuring that they actively pursue and reinforce the Trusts policies in relation to Equal Opportunities and diversity legislation.

- Up to date knowledge of current and developing Law, Legislation in relation to Facilities services as detailed above is desirable
- Knowledge of operating practices and guidelines relating to NHS Trusts
Experience

- Demonstrable experience in Facilities/ Logistic Leadership/ management or associated organisations
- Experience of carrying out audits and/or delivering training
