EPR Business Change Analyst

Main duties of the job
Within this role you will be accountable to assist in providing an integrated approach to the development and delivery of change associated with the implementation of EPR.
This role will be needed to support the activities of clinical and departmental staff in the analysis and development of business processes.
You will organise and lead workshops for speciality or individual components of EPR processes and work with the Allscripts team to translate these into software function.

Job responsibilities
To assist in the development of costs effective process redesign within the organisation.
To effectively communicate with all stakeholders regarding current and revised working practices and working patterns
Proactively engage with all stakeholders in all professional groups communicating complex and emotive ideas, negotiating and influencing the changes to deliver the identified benefits.
Regularly make judgements involving complex facts or situations, which require the analysis, interpretation and comparison of a range of options and provide recommendations to the EPR Project Team as to the preferred options.
Use persuasive and advanced negotiating skills to ensure contentious situations are resolved.
Communicate effectively with the Allscripts team in translating clinical practice and revised processes into the EPR System.
Liaise with all departmental and clinical teams across all professional groups to ensure that changes to practice are accepted and embedded locally
Actively promote the implementation of EPR System and be a champion for change.
Assist in the monitoring of the impact of clinical change and realisation of benefits
Provide regular reports to the EPR Project team when required
The role requires driving and keyboard skills.
Organise and facilitate continuous improvement sessions and workshops to support the implementation of EPR, such as process mapping and benefits identification. This requires planning workshops across the organisation involving multi-disciplinary team members and external agency.
Workshops also need to be planned sequentially in line with project key milestones and the post-holder will need to adjust the timings, dates and membership accordingly in order to ensure a successful outcome is achieved.
Assist the EPR project team in identifying risks associated with cross-divisional and cross-organisational ways of working and work across traditional boundaries to ensure these are mitigated and reported to the clinical change team.
Through analysis of current practice, interpret current working practice and advice on alternative approaches.
As part of the EPR team support the development and implementation of new SOP and policy to support the successful transition to the introduction of the electronic records within the Trust.
Assist with the identification of problems with processes and work collaboratively to find solutions.
Work with the EPR project team, Change Team and representatives from Allscripts to design local aspects of the EPR system and test the systems in partnership and on behalf of the Trust end users.
Work with the EPR project team, Clinical Change Team and representatives from Allscripts to provide the information required at each stage of the EPR workflows to ensure that agreed processes can be implemented.
