Main duties of the job
As part of the Financial Management Team you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Facilities & Estates division as well as all corporate functions within the Trust. You will work closely with the services creating an active partnership with both the operations and management teams, and become a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making.

To provide financial information, advice and support to the Directorate, meeting regularly with Service managers and budget holders to ensure that the financial position of the Directorate and the Trust is understood and that any potential financial problems are identified early enough for corrective action to be taken.
The post holder must be capable of challenging and proposing solutions to the Directorate team to ensure achievement of the Trusts and Directorates financial and performance objectives.

To take the lead in developing Directorate ownership of all aspects of the forecasting process (i.e. activity, income, expenditure, workforce and cost improvement programmes), through training and regular engagement. - Qualified/Passed Finalist

- Knowledge and understanding of strategic and operational planning, budgeting, contracting and performance monitoring
