Job summary
We are looking for someone to join our Neuropsychology Service. The post we have available is part-time (2 days a week), working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a Level 2a Specialised Rehabilitation ward at Lincoln County Hospital. We are offering preceptorships from band 7-8a if applicable and would therefore welcome final year clinical psychology applicants and those recently qualified.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be supported to maintain an independent caseload of people presenting with a wide variety of neurological conditions.
Clinical work will include provision of neuropsychological assessment, formulation and intervention, and will include both direct and indirect working in community and inpatient settings.
The post holder will form a crucial part of the neuropsychology team, receiving regular supervision and opportunities for continuing professional development.

- Knowledge of systems, policies and legislation and its implications for both clinical practice and professional management in relation to the client's with acquired brain injury and long term neurological conditions.
- Experience of administering and interpreting a broad range of neuropsychological assessments, paying attention to detail and ensuring accuracy
- Knowledge of psychological interventions and rehabilitation approaches in the treatment of patients with a broad range of neurological conditions.
- Doctoral level knowledge of research design and methodology.
