We offer roles across our mental health services, both inpatient and community settings as well as having a bespoke rotational programme whereby you can experience 3 different areas in your first 2 years as a nurse whilst having the benefit of a permanent contract.

LPFT offers an excellent preceptorship programme which will be delivered in your first 12 months as a newly registered nurse and offers you both peer support as well as personal and professional development.

Interviews will be arranged individually and are likely to be held virtually over Microsoft Teams.

Main duties of the job

To be part of an integrated health/social care team providing inpatient care for service users suffering from serious and enduring mental illness. Offering nursing interventions in a wide variety of clinical, therapeutic and social forms with the aim of promoting mental health well being, self autonomy and independence. The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of nursing care, in liaison with the care team in the capacity of a mental health nurse.
