Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the transformation of Mental health Services. We want you to be in a role where you can guide, support, listen and educate on mental health for both our service users and our wider NHS colleagues to ensure individuals get the right, most appropriate mental health care dependant on their needs. We would welcome any registered Practitioner to apply as we want varied experience and knowledge within the mental health platform to be able to offer the best approach to care we can.
Main duties of the job
To work autonomously within the context of local and national drivers, providing advanced clinical care using high level assessment to identify mental health issues, treatments, refer appropriately and co-ordinate the patient's journey across the health, social care and voluntary sector system, regardless of care setting.
To be the designated clinician for a PCN in a geographical area and be responsible for maintaining comprehensive clinical communication and education with general practices and Place Based colleagues, providing timely feedback to the service manager.
To supervise other clinical MH staff within the Place based team.
