Job summary
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and enthusiastic registered mental health nurse to join the Grantham CMHT. This role will suit a band 5 wishing to develop or someone who already has experience at band 6.
As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will manage a caseload, having the opportunity to provide a range of specialist mental health assessments and evidence based, recovery focused interventions. You will work collaboratively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team with people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties and complex presentations, their carers and other agencies, enabling them to access mental health specialist support.

The community mental health team will be central to this focus, this role will be significant in aiding the team to move towards an integrated care system and seamless working.
The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive trust induction and there will be opportunities for CPD. Management and Clinical supervision are provided regularly. The candidate will be encouraged to contribute to service development and expected to supervise junior colleagues.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of care needs, assessment, planning, and implementation of evidence based care to a defined group of service users and their carers within the service catchment area whilst under the guidance of senior staff. The post holder will provide professional advice and support to other agencies and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
