Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the organisation's Digital Strategy and support it through the delivery of Programmes and Projects aligned to strategic goals.

The successful postholder will be a core member of the Digital and Data Services management team and work closely with both operational services and IT strategic partners to deliver a wide range of projects and programmes of work.

The person for this role will be a proven leader, have significant communication, project management and technical knowledge and experience. In addition, they will have a track record of working across multiple stakeholders, building strong relationships to deliver upon their duties and responsibilities.

This role is potentially suitable for hybrid working with Lincoln or Sleaford as a main office base.

Main duties of the job

To contribute to the development of the Digital Strategy and support it through delivery of Programmes and Projects aligned to strategic goals

To support clinical teams to ensure their IT needs are delivered

To lead the delivery of the LPFT ICT Projects and Technology Programme of Work

To lead and provide expertise on feasibility and procurement phases of projects

To support the delivery and management of the wider Informatics Service providing technical and management support and guidance as required

To promote the value and importance of technology as an enabler for the delivery of good patient care throughout the organisation

To provide expert advice and guidance to managers and other relevant members of staff in relationship to their programmes of work and interfaces with the Informatics service

To provide significant support in leading change processes across the delivery of ICT projects

To provide line management and supervision of junior posts within the wider team

To horizon scan for impending changes in technology and make recommendations for relevant ICT developments

To ensure project management processes are implemented and followed providing good project management documentation and utilising LPFT procedures to support this

To provide technical expertise when reviewing and assessing IT security on new projects and areas of work
