Main duties of the job
The Mental Health Support Teams are jointly delivered by NHS and Department of Education and are sited within local schools in the Spalding and Grantham area. They aim to provide CBT informed early interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional well being issues, such as anxiety, and low mood. They also aim to provide training and support to staff working in the designated school or college setting and help education settings develop a whole system approach to promoting good mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Note for candidates:
This is advertised as a full-time post operating Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, however other working patterns can be considered and base can be negotiated. We have a range of CYP bases across the county, and candidates will need to have the ability to travel between education settings and bases, some of which are in rural areas. There is also an expectation for some home working. The Teams are based within the Grantham and Spalding area.
