Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Training Lead to join the Digital Systems Team within the Informatics Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with exceptional written and communication skills to lead the development of effective learning solutions to support EPR & IT Digital training of the Trust workforce and work with stakeholders to identify training needs and deliver efficient high-quality solutions.
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the Systems Training Officers, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, work effectively within a team with the confidence to influence and make informed decisions. You will have demonstrable experience of managing staff and delivering EPR & IT Digital training, formal report writing and presenting information at a senior level.
The post requires someone who has a flexible approach and is willing to work across a range of clinical and non clinical staff across the Trust, with stakeholders and external organisations on their own initiative but with support and guidance from senior members as required.

Main duties of the job
To line manage, provide supervision and appraisals, coaching, mentoring and take responsibility for the System Training Officers assigned to the postholder
Managing provision of the Digital Systems training across the organisation
Responsible and agree sign off of any end user training courses developed for e-learning and videos ensuring that what is created is reflecting what is delivered
Responsible for the delivery of systems training for various types of system software applications used by the Trust, via digital or classroom based teaching and individual support training for staff across the organisation
To ensure that learner feedback on the training delivered by the team is collated and acted upon as necessary
To lead on the development of new training packages and when the Trust procures new systems that require training, or makes significant changes to the use of existing systems through upgrades and releases
To present Board papers and reports to all levels of the organisation
Manage the production of a digital focus, classroom style training and annual mandated refresher training
Attend Train the Trainer courses as appropriate and support the necessary changes during significant upgrades/rollout/user acceptance testing in particular with the more advanced or complex features of the system
Work with the Trust service leads, project leads, and senior system users to support process map changes, needed to deliver the benefits and desired outcome and any impact
