We are seeking to appoint an highly motivated individual who would relish the opportunity to practice in the CAMHS Learning Disability Service within LPFT.
Applications are welcome from candidates who have experience of working with children/young people/adults who have a moderate to severe Learning Disability.
Main duties of the job
You will complete visits to children and their families in a range of different environments, such as their homes, schools, respite settings throughout the county of Lincolnshire, therefore a full driving licence and access to own vehicle are a necessity.
You successful candidate will be eager to make a difference for children and young people who have a diagnosed moderate to severe Learning Disability and are experiencing difficulties in relation to their Mental Health. They will be enthusiastic, organised, focused and compassionate to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team
You will support the completion of mental health assessments for young people with a moderate to severe learning disability and working with the multi-disciplinary team will develop treatment plans that support children's mental health, using evidence based models or practice
You will attend clinical supervision and formulation with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to consultation discussions with other agencies who may seek support in relation to making reasonable adjustments for children who have a mild learning disability and other complex health needs.
